Sightguard was formed back in 1971 and started out by providing static guarding services and mobile patrols. MD Vic Lewis soon saw the potential for expansion and this progressed into offering cash collection and delivery of valuables to auction in armoured vehicles and then into electronic fire and security.
Whilst other local firms offer a variation of such services, we are able to offer a total package with tailor made solutions for both domestic and corporate client’s and we stand proud as a leading player. Much of our work is from recommendation. We are well known and respected locally, offer a professional, but more personalised level of service and enjoy a close professional relationship with all of our contracted clients. Our engineers take pride in going just that little bit further to please. No job is ever too small or too large.
Our sales team are all from an engineering background and have extensive knowledge of the industry and more importantly as engineers, will be able to tell you exactly how we will run and conceal a cable from A to B. A surveyor telling you that hiding a cable is the engineer’s problem may as well be selling you a used car. We are passionate about what we do.
We have invested much over the last few years in technology, equipment and training. We use high specification equipment from leading manufacturers and suppliers, all of which can easily be supported and maintained. We are fully up to date with current industry standards which cover a multitude of disciplines.
Whilst approved by industry bodies such as the SSAIB, NICEIC & BSI, we acknowledge that many of our potentially new clients will also want local confirmation of our competence and ability to deliver, which is why in May 07 we were delighted to join the Isle of Wight Trading Standards “Buy With Confidence” scheme.
