Intruder Division—Alarms

We install and maintain the simplest domestic intruder alarm systems through to the most technically advanced corporate intruder alarm systems, to full British standard BS4737, DD243 2004 and now PD 6662 2004 (EN 50131) since it’s introduction as of 01st October 2005. We specialise in upload / download systems by Honeywell & Gardtec. This permits remote access to the control panel, allowing resets, programming changes, event log printing to be carried out, all without the need to send an engineer to site. This offers a great financial saving to our clients, whereby some companies would see this as an opportunity to make additional charges. We believe our monitoring and maintenance costs to be the best compared to our local and national “approved” competition. 

 

Depending on your needs and risk, we can offer the traditional “audible only” system, SMS Text to mobile phone, Vo-Comm notification, digital communicator right through to dual path or IP signalling solutions for our higher risk clients. We will even takeover a competitors system free of charge and in the unlikely event that they are more competitive, we will if possible better or match their service costs.

 

Our telephones are staffed 24 / 7 - contracted client’s have unrestricted access to our 24 hr emergency engineering call out service, access is also available to a duty manager at all times and we also offer a 24 / 7 keyholding service.

In 2005 we introduced Class VI wire free and hybrid solutions to our product portfolio. The Gardtec wire free equipment has proven to be a very popular and reliable solution for those clients not wanting disruption in lifting floor boards to hide cables, offering a “no mess” “quick fix” solution.

 

Most insurers will now insist on you using an approved installer / maintainer, who will carry out a comprehensive risk assessment and survey.
